Disable A User
You can Disable a user from the All Users List which temporarily revokes the User’s access to your workspace till such time the User is enabled back again.
When disabled, the User will not be able to sign in to the workspace.
To disable a user, follow these steps -
Step 1: Go to the “Admin” section in the side menu of your Dashboard and click on the “Users” page.
Step 2: Under the “Users” page, select “All users”
Step 3: Click the menu button [3 dots] and select “Disable”
Step 4: If the user who is getting disabled has some documents assigned to them for verification, you’ll be required to transfer the verification of such documents to another User in your workspace. In this case, you will be shown an option accordingly.
Step 5: Press “Confirm” to proceed with disabling the User.
The user will be disabled from the Workspace.
📓Things to be noted
- User Management can be performed either by the Owner / Admin of the Workspace or by any other User who’ve been granted rights to “Manage Users and Groups”.
- A disabled user is not permanently deleted from the Workspace but is temporarily blocked from using the workspace.
- If the User being disabled is signed in to your workspace, they will be informed and will be logged out of the workspace immediately.
